1 Ownership & Licence
All software, tools, algorithms, source code, user interfaces, documentation and branding published on qwojtsoft.com are the intellectual property of Qwojtsoft and are protected by copyright and applicable law.
A purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the software on your own equipment for its intended purpose. Ownership of the software itself is never transferred. Your licence key is issued to you and to you alone.
2 Piracy, Cracking & Reverse Engineering — Prohibited
The following are strictly forbidden and constitute a breach of licence and of copyright law:
- Cracking, patching, keygen-ing, emulating or otherwise circumventing the licensing, activation or protection of any Qwojtsoft software.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling or disassembling the software, except to the narrow extent such an act cannot be prohibited by mandatory local law.
- Copying, redistributing, re-hosting, reselling, renting, lending or sharing the software, its installers or its licence keys.
- Publishing, uploading or seeding the software (or any modified build of it) to forums, file-lockers, torrents, Telegram channels or any third-party site.
- Removing, obscuring or altering any copyright notice, watermark or protection mechanism.
Licences found to be shared, resold or used beyond their terms will be revoked without refund. Qwojtsoft actively monitors distribution of its tools and reserves the right to pursue civil and criminal remedies against infringers.
3 Cracked & Unofficial Copies
Genuine Qwojtsoft software is available only from qwojtsoft.com and, for paid editions, delivered directly to the purchaser. Any copy obtained from a third party, a forum, a reseller or a "free download" is not genuine and not supported.
Cracked, modified or repackaged builds are unauthorised. They may be deliberately incomplete or non-functional, may behave unpredictably, and may write incorrect data to a control unit — which can permanently damage or brick an ECU, cluster or module. Qwojtsoft accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any loss, damage or data corruption caused by software that did not come directly from us.
If you are unsure whether your copy is genuine, contact us before using it on a vehicle.
4 Activation, Internet Connection & Machine Changes
Each licence is bound to one computer. On activation the software creates a machine identifier from that computer’s hardware, and the licence is issued against it.
Qwojtsoft software requires an internet connection to run. It contacts our licence server each time it starts to confirm the licence is valid and has not been revoked. A short offline period is tolerated so that a brief network interruption does not stop a job already in progress, but the software will not continue to run indefinitely without reaching the server. If you cannot give the computer an internet connection, this software is not suitable for you — please do not purchase it.
Reinstalling Windows, renaming the computer or changing hardware can change the machine identifier and require re-activation. Moving your licence to a different computer is a move, not a copy: it is confirmed by email to your registered address, and it deactivates the previous machine. Moves are subject to a cooling-off interval between transfers and a reasonable annual limit; additional moves are at our discretion and will normally be granted for genuine reasons such as a failed or replaced machine.
Where a licence is revoked under section 2, revocation takes effect immediately — including on a session already running.
5 Updates & Support Period
Each licence includes software updates until the date shown in the licence ("updates until"). Updates are delivered through the in-app updater and are available only to licences that are active and in good standing.
After that date the last version you were entitled to continues to work on your activated machine; newer versions, and the vehicle coverage added in them, require a renewal. Features and vehicle coverage may be added, changed or withdrawn between versions as manufacturers, hardware and our own tooling change.
6 Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Qwojtsoft software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure against circumvention. You use it entirely at your own risk.
Working with ECUs, immobilisers, mileage data and vehicle electronics carries an inherent risk of data loss and hardware damage. Always back up original data before writing. Keeping usable backups of any data you modify is your responsibility, not ours.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qwojtsoft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages — including bricked modules, lost or corrupted data, vehicle downtime, cost of substitute tools, or lost profit — arising from the use or misuse of its software. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with a licence shall not exceed the amount you paid for that licence in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing in this notice excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
7 Payment, Refunds & Cancellation
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details. Prices are shown at checkout and licences are issued once payment is confirmed.
Licences are digital goods, supplied immediately and bound to your machine on activation. By completing a purchase you ask us to supply the software immediately and — where you are buying as a consumer — you acknowledge that you lose the statutory right to cancel once download and activation have begun.
For that reason we do not refund a licence that has been issued and activated, except where the law requires it, or where the software cannot be made to work on your machine and we are unable to resolve it with you. A free or demo edition is available for every product — please try it on your own computer before buying, so you can confirm the software runs and the online activation works for you. Licences revoked for breach of section 2 are not refunded.
8 Lawful Use Only
Qwojtsoft tools are intended for professional automotive technicians, locksmiths and workshops for legitimate diagnostic, repair, key-programming and calibration work on vehicles they own or are authorised to service.
You are solely responsible for using the software in compliance with all laws that apply to you — including odometer, mileage-disclosure, anti-tampering and data-protection legislation. Qwojtsoft does not condone and accepts no liability for odometer fraud, theft, or any other unlawful use of its tools.
9 Information We Collect
To issue and operate licences we record: the email address you provide at purchase, a payment reference from Stripe, the machine identifier described in section 4, the IP address your software connects from, the product and version in use, and the date and time of activation and validation checks.
We use this to issue and validate licences, deliver updates, provide support, and to detect licence sharing, forged licences and unauthorised copies. Our lawful bases are performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interest in protecting our software from unauthorised use. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
We keep these records for as long as your licence is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting, support and anti-fraud purposes. You may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it where we are not required to keep it — write to info@qwojtsoft.com.
10 Governing Law
This notice and any licence granted under it are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you buy as a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory law of your own country.
11 Acceptance, Changes & Contact
You accept this notice when you confirm it at checkout, and by installing or continuing to use Qwojtsoft software. If you do not accept it, do not install or use the software.
We may update this notice; the version published here at the time governs, and the date it was last changed is shown at the top of this page. Where a change materially affects how the software works for existing customers, we will announce it on our News page.
